Since joining the team Holborn in January, after a year heading up Work.Life Hammersmith, I&#8217;ve had the chance to properly explore Lamb&#8217;s Conduit Street, and I can see why our members have been raving about this location for the past five years.<\/p>\n<p>This Georgian street manages to feel like a village high street despite being in Zone 1. It&#8217;s got the kind of independent shops and restaurants that are increasingly rare in central London, and over the past few months, I&#8217;ve developed some firm favourites that I think anyone working in the area should know about.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Why_Lambs_Conduit_Street_is_so_special\"><\/span><strong>Why Lamb&#8217;s Conduit Street is so special<\/strong>\u00a0<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Lamb&#8217;s Conduit Street dates back to the 1720s and has somehow avoided the chain store takeover that&#8217;s affected much of central London. The outdoor tables are perfect when the weather&#8217;s decent, and the coffee is consistently well-made. I often grab something from here to bring back to the office. The wine list is also excellent, if that&#8217;s your thing.<\/p>\n<p><em>51 Lamb&#8217;s Conduit Street, London WC1N 3NB<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Banh Mi Aha!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Incredible Vietnamese sandwiches &#8211; what more could you need to see you through a meeting heavy afternoon. Perfect for when you need a quick bite that won&#8217;t break the bank.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>45 Lamb&#8217;s Conduit Street, London WC1N 3NG<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Perseverance<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A proper London pub that happens also does amazing pizza. So amazing that we order from here every Thursday for Work.Life&#8217;s beer &amp; pizza. Honestly I wanted to gatekeep this spot but it&#8217;s too good to keep to myself.<\/p>\n<p><em>63 Lamb&#8217;s Conduit Street, London WC1N 3LZ<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Honey &amp; Co Restaurant<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A Middle Eastern restaurant across from their bakery. The food is so flavourful \u2013 I&#8217;ve taken family here and it&#8217;s always been stellar.
