Fascinating. But here&#8217;s the thing that matters:\u00a0<strong>31% of workers are most productive outside that &#8220;standard&#8221; morning window.<\/strong>\u00a0And another 19% are already done with their best work before most offices even open.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s nearly\u00a0<strong>half of all workers<\/strong>\u00a0who don&#8217;t fit the traditional 9-5 productivity pattern.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_problem_with_one-size-fits-all_work_schedules\"><\/span>The problem with one-size-fits-all work schedules<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Traditional office hours were designed around manufacturing and factory work &#8211; not knowledge work, creative thinking, or strategic planning. Yet we&#8217;ve spent decades trying to squeeze everyone into the same rigid schedule, regardless of when their brain actually works best.<\/p>\n<p>The science backs this up. Our productivity patterns are influenced by\u00a0<strong>chronotypes &#8211; <\/strong>essentially, whether you&#8217;re biologically wired as a morning person, evening person, or somewhere in between.
